About Quiet Company.

Hi, I’m Nicky, vocalist, songwriter and performer for Quiet Company.

Music has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Durham, I was always drawn to music from all different genres and generations, which has given me a pretty eclectic taste and a love for great songs regardless of style. From indie and alternative music to rock classics, acoustic favourites and modern hits, I’ve always been passionate about the songs that bring people together.

Over the years I’ve spent countless hours singing, performing, writing and developing my own sound. Alongside Quiet Company, I also release my own original music under the name Nicky Re, with my most recent release being Playing To Lose. Writing and performing original music has helped shape my approach as a live performer, focusing on connection, storytelling and creating moments people genuinely remember.

Quiet Company gives me the opportunity to combine that passion for live music with some of my favourite songs ever written. Whether we’re performing at a wedding, private event, venue or corporate function, my aim is always the same: to create a great atmosphere, connect with the audience and make sure people leave having enjoyed themselves.

For me, live music has always been about more than just playing songs. It’s about bringing people together, creating memories and giving every event its own soundtrack.

Hi, I'm Owen, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist for Quiet Company.

Music has been a huge part of my life from an early age. I began playing drums at 12 before picking up the guitar at 14, developing a passion for live performance that quickly became a huge part of who I am.

Growing up in Nottinghamshire, I spent my teenage years performing across the local music scene, playing venues throughout the region both as an acoustic performer and as part of full bands.

After moving to the North East at 19, I continued pursuing my love of music, building on years of live experience while working professionally within the music industry.

Alongside performing, I studied music at college level and have recorded, mixed and produced multiple tracks. Whether performing stripped-back acoustic sets or bigger live arrangements, my aim is always the same: to help create music people connect with.
